Haha we're having above normal temps here too. The norm is about 45 right now.
Plus i find that hilarious that you actually use winter jackets when its what, 40? *laughs histarically* I've permanently put mine away, and its not coming out until we break 0 again. And my lighter jacket wont come out until we break 32 again. So its my jean jacket/no jacket until next winter. And flip flops are fair game until it hits 32 again. Hehe.

I need to start stocking up on a summer inventory of shorts and t-shirts that FIT. I bought one sleeveless shirt and a pair of athletic-comfy-shorts today. However...I have like 3 pairs of fitting shorts. Pretty sad. Methinks that I'm going to die when the 80s start rolling around. Methinks that I also need to go to Target and get some cheap clothes before those 80s start rolling in.
Sa, did you feel the humidity today? It felt so gross...you could feel the dampness on you, even though it was really only 60 degrees out. And then there was all that rain. And thunder. And lightning. And more thunderstorms scheduled for Saturday. Blech.

Haha. For the most part i missed all the rain you got here in Minnesota. It did pour Sunday night. So much so that we took a cab from the Embassy Suites (which was connected to the restaurant we were having dinner at) up the street one block to the Sheraton, the hotel we were staying at. But the only other option was my mom and grandma sharing the umbrella, and me sprinting uphill (it was up a hill to the hotel) to the hotel. I could've done it, but i would've been soaked instantly.
Oh, it was really humid early Sunday. And it had to have been 70. It was so depressing to leave the 65 and sunshine of chicago, hop on a plane, be in the sun most of the flight, then have to go below the clouds and lose all the sun and be here where its damp, grey, and 40. Ugh.

Today we're leaving for Galveston so hopefully it won't be too hot but we're coming back Thursday so that I can watch my girlfriend show her lamb Friday at the fair.

Good point. Except on Wednesday I bruised one of my hip bones I think during skating. But it's fine now.

I've never been ice skating (I'm assuming that's what you were talking about) though I hope too eventually. There's a new ice ring in Beaumont, an hour away from us so now maybe I can.

Haha we have an ice rink not too far away. 'Sides, we can always skate outside during the winter, even though you have to be careful not to hit a bump and kill yourself. But I admit, i cant ice skate. Rollerblade, yes, that i can do well. Ice skate, nope. But I can ski well, if that counts for anything. Too bad I couldn't be on the slopes this year. But next year I intend to perfect my little fancy stop. *grins evilly*

Figure/Ice skating is awesome. Though I suppose that's because I know how to skate. I don't remember what I fell on though...though I think it was a double salchow...or maybe an axel. Ah well, it's behind me.
