His ego is probably so big you wouldn't be able to.

So what do you think of Perry, Jonathan?

Perry? Is that supposed to be Kerry, since we seem to be talking about politics, or no?

Yeah, I wouldn't have known about Perry either. But that makes logical sense, since we were talking about govs.

I don't really have much of an opinion about him since you never really hear anything about him. Besides, I don't really have much time for politics.

*laughs histarically* I wish i could ignore politics. But first of all, I spend 1 1/2 hours of my day in Civics, which is all about politics and government, and thats what we're specifically studying right now, is elections. Second, Minnesota is a swing state. We used to go D, because we have farmer unions and iron range worker unions and such, and the cities, but lately the R. subarbs have been gaining power i think. So we could go either way (we elected a R gov, didn't we?). So we've been pelted with political ads, and within the last few weeks have had visits from Bush and kerry. So its been all over the news.

Politics isn't really an avoidable subject. It's most likely going to come up sometime.
As for Bush and Kerry, If I was of legal voting age, it would be Kerry. Bush did handle the 9-11 situation very well, but Kerry just seems to know what he's doing more.

Yeah. Politics is definitely unavoidable. Especially when you reach voting age, and it's definitely of importance to pay attention to politics in order to make informed voting choices.

I dont like bush or kerry. They have almost the same stand on like abortion and gay marriage, so i can't use that. But my main decider, that would decide me if I could vote this year (which i can't, dang. I dont turn 18 until the summer of '07, right before/when i go to college), would be taxes. We dont want raised taxes. I have to pay the same rate on what i earn that my parents do. Out of the 12 months I work in a year (i work for my dad doing the paperwork, since he's a dentist), i only get to keep my pay from about 7 of them. The other 5 months go to taxes. So I would get a lot more, but that all has to go to taxes. We dont need higher taxes. We're almost at 50% now, dont raise it for us!!!

Well that's true. But there are pros and cons of both candiddates. You can't get a perfect one, can you?

Nope. You can't really find a perfect candidate who will work to the likings of everyone.

Nope. And on the tax issue, Bush has lowered the taxes, but for the wealthy people. Middle class people got a bit of a tax break, but not much.
