I had traveled the rest of the night, and dawn was approaching when I arrived at the castle. The guards, mouth agape with shock, quickly opened the gates. The place was a hive of activity. Following the war and the supposed demise of the Witch King, the castle was left in ruins, only fear and superstition had left my own castle intact. Now workers and slaves were rushing about, busy with the reconstruction of the castle. There were enchantments ensuring that no one outside our circle would realize anything out of the ordinary, and caution was exercised to the extreme. I was quickly escorted to the doors outside the main hall. The guardsmen there did nothing but stare in awe, reverence or fear, it didn't really matter. I wasn't in the mood for such things after traveling, so, out of sheer irritation, I quickly killed both of the guards, and shattered both of the doors to the main hall. Angmar, surrounded by his generals, looked up in a rage, then quickly blanched, as only Nazgul can, as I stormed into their midst. Still in a rage, I killed a general, but then managed to get control of myself before I slaughtered his entire staff. Then I turned my gaze on Angmar, his normally commanding presence quailed, and said simply, "Explain yourself."

Darkmoon picked her way among the rocks that were scattered near Minas Morgul. I knew not why I'd gone there rather than Mordor. It was probably just one of those elf things. But I cared not. I believed I had the other end of the deal, and I was ready to work it out. I pulled up Darkmoon at the gates, and wondered at what to do next.

Unknowingly, and cowardly before my master, I stuttered, "Uhhh....."

Darkmoon pranced, shaking her mane nerviously. I held the reins tight, watching the tower. I waited, getting crabbier with every passing minute.

"Pathetic." I flung him away from me. I turned to the rest of them, and in a voice laced with steel I said, "Leave us." They fled as if the very fires of Mt. Doom were nipping at their heels. Once they were gone, again I whirled on Angmar. "You!!!" I grabbed him again. "You know better than to go this long without so much as a single report as to your progress. If I didn't know better, I would think you were planning a rebellion." Receiving nothing but stuttered apologies, I flung him away once again in disgust. "Pull yourself together!" At once he straightened up and even resembled his old regal self again. "I'm in a generous mood today so you are forgiven, but see that it doesn't happen again!" He bowed low. Suddenly the doors slammed open, and a score of guards rushed into the chamber. They prostrated themselves on the floor before me. "On your feet. How dare you enter without my permission!" The guards began to tremble violently. One of them slowly began to rise. "Our apologies oh master. But there is something that requires your attention." "And what is that?" "Master there is an elf here that claims to be an agent of your's" Quickly I spun around. "WHAT?!" The orc shrunk away in fear. "We would have killed her, but she... since she somehow managed to break through the barrier surrounding the castle, we thought that you would want to know." "SHE WHAT?!" I moved closer. "Mercy master! We don't know how!" "What is her name?" I had to be sure. "Ice master." So it was her. "Where is she?" "We put her in the dungeon." "THE DUNGEON!!! WHY WASN'T SHE BROUGHT TO ME IMMEDIATLY?!!!!" "Master we...." I was in a rage. I killed the orc before he could finish his sniveling excuse. The rest once again hit the floor and began to beg pathetically for mercy. "SILENCE!" "Take me to her you fools!" I turned to Angmar. "You will accompany me. This is someone you will want to meet." Flanked by the guards, we headed down to the dungeon.

I sat lazily in the dungeon, absently rubbing a small pendant that I wore around my neck. I focused my mind, clearing out distracting thoughts that could ultimately kill me if i wasn't careful. My ears listened for any sound of approaching footsteps.

As we made our way down into the dungeons, my mind was racing. What was she doing in Morgul? I had not informed her of my intent to meet with Angmar, so how could she possibly know to come here? And what of Nalen? I would have had some word from him if the change in plans had been this momentous. She might have found him out and killed him, yes. But Nalen is trained professional and would present no easy target, even to an elf. We finally reached the bottom and the guards led the procession down the long dark passageway, to her cell. The state of the dungeons was appalling. No, it wasn't because it screamed of death and stank with the smell of putrid carcasses. The dungeons were almost in ruins themselves because of neglect, since they were rarely ever used(Orcs weren't in the habbit of taking prisoners). When we reached her cell, the door was unbolted and pushed open. Angmar and myself made ourway into the dimly lit space. She was sitting against the far wall, looking quite calm and serene considering her surroundings, although it could have been just a facade. I had no time to be impressed however and cut straight to the point. Other matters would be addressed later. "What are you doing here elf?"

I looked up as I heard footsteps, watching the door sharply. When Sauron appeared, I smiled inwardly. I didn't stand though, for to stand for him would be to give an admission to his power, whatever he did have. Instead I remained seated. I was slightly surprised by his upfrontness, but quickly hid it.
"Why do you want to know?" I drawled. "I mean, why would you care if I wished to seal our deal?"
For all of my lazy appearance, I watched him sharply to gauge his reaction.

"Enough!" In a rage I sent a fireball into the chair she had somehow managed to procure, disentegrating it under her and causing her to fall into an ungraceful heap on the floor. I then used my power to send her flying through the air toward me, and within seconds my hand was firmly grasped about her throat, suspending her in midair. "I have played your little game long enough elf," I hissed at her enunciating each syllable with a painful squeeze on her esophagus. "You will learn to hold your tongue, or I will have it removed." I set her on the ground. "Now answer my question. What are you doing in Morgul?"

I sat up, gripping the pendant around my neck. I whispered a word, feeling the aching of my throat ease into nothing.
"I answered your question a moment ago, didn't i? I said it obviously. Or maybe it was just obvious for me, being the person I am."

"You push me to far elf," I said warningly. "Allow me to spell it out for you. How did you know to come to Morgul?"

I grinned.
"That is for me to know, and you to find out."
I laughed.
"But I think I'll tell you, since you seem so eager to know. I'm not just any normal elf. I'm the spymaster, and a mage too. Its a simple matter to track someone like you. You leave an impression on anyone you meet. Plus, as a mage, I can just tell where you are. Even I can't explain it."

I chuckled as well "Not so child, only those I wish to leave such an impression on. But once again, mind your sharp tongue. I'm sure you know very well that with a mere word, you would be dead where you stand." Now that that was over,"Have you considered my offer?"

I wasn't happy about being called a child. After all, i was several thousand years old, being an elf and all. But I hid my annoyance.
"I have. I wouldn't have come if I didn't have an answer."
