Yes. Hence the "After piano" within my phrase. There are tons of people who do piano. I would be one of them if my parents had agreed to take my grandmother's piano.

yup yup. I saw that. Was just saying. And it does suck to have such a popular instrument sometimes. But a plus is theres so much sheet music and such to choose from.

Yeah I've actually only really started playing for about 4 or 5 days now. It's hard, I will give you that, but after a lot of practice, it gets easier. I've already learned Amazing Grace. I just love that song. It's so great! Anyway, I'm still playing quints for marching band though.

Yes, it's very hard, but you're only bound to get better. Amazing Grace is pretty. We sing it in church a lot, and I kind of just taught myself how to play it on violin a few years ago.
Yeah, there's TONS of violin music to choose from, which is really nice. I'm sure the same is true with piano.

Oh yeah, you could play forever and not play all the music there is for piano.

Exactly. Plus, if you take the TIME to learn a piece, there's no way in the world that you could even get a fourth or a third of a way into all of the violin or piano music that's out there. It's impending!

We actually haven't sung Amazing Grace in church in a while now but it's bound to come round about sometime soon. Violin is actually realy fun to play though. ;D

I agree! It is very fun to play! That's definitely one of the reasons why I have stuck with it for 8 years. Plus, you meet so many awesome people in the world of music...it's excellent.

I wouldn't know how many peeps you meet in the world of music cuz i'm not stuck there. I meet people in the worlds of Harry Potter, Tamora Pierce, Tennis, and Icons (i've started getting traffic on my icon journal *jumps for joy* Yay!), not music.

The first year I went to Stringwood, I met roughly 50 people. Over less than 2 weeks. It was awesome.
Yes, that was music related.
And I understand why you wouldn't meet people in the music world, because it's not one of your largest interests. There are hundreds of other ways to meet people...like RP-ing!
