Minnesota Freaks at Your Assistance!
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
How do you Texans survive summer? 100+ degrees for like 2 months in a row? Sheesh! Not to mention the occasional Tropical Storm or two. And the drought. Except Minnesota's in a drought too so I shant be talking.

Exactly! That's how we get through winter. I've lived in Minnesota for exactly 15 winters (I was born in winter, hehe). I daresay I've gotten used to subzero temperatures and the snow. And the fact that we never get snow days. But that's a whole another story.

I wish it would snow down here. I've never had the chance to play in snow and I have always wanted to so bad.

Aww...darn! It is an experience that all should have! Come up to Minnesota for a day next winter. Then mayhap you can see the snow. Unfortunately, seeing as it's 68 degrees right now, according to Ice, I don't believe there'll be any more snow for a loooong time.

NO SNOW? ?? NO FAIR!!! I HATE SNOW!!! HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But its all melted now...so i dont hate it so much. And trust me, if you think 11 is cold, then you dont want snow. For snow is evil, and cold, especially when you have to walk through 6 inches of it, and your jeans get soaked at the bottom. But we're celebrating here. HEAT WAVE!!! My thermometer says its 68.5F!!!! Hurrah!!!! Its the highest temp we've had since at least October, if not before. And yes, we're used to winter. Its kinda sad, cuz we get to this point in spring where we're celebrating cuz we hit 10F. I'm sure Stell remembers that one week with the really bad weather (which is actually on the mild side compared to what we got years ago). I got to cross country ski outside when it was -20F, with it feeling like -35 with wind chill. My eyelashes froze just from the wind. Not fun. But its like 70 today!!! Par-tay Em!

HEAT WAVE!!!!!!! I remember one year when it as 68 on December 1st. That was cool.
Ya, I remember that string of days. Yick. I don't think we'll be condemned to that sort of cold until next December. Which is good, of course.
PARTY!!!!

I know, that was awful. And I remember it was so warm for like the first two weeks of school, and then it went down to the 40s without any warning, cuz i was in tennis and we had to sit on the courts for hours so yeah.
Yup yup. And hopefully depression will stay away until December. I do believe its SAD. It started to go away as the days lengthened. So I'll have that to worry about next November, but not until then. Yay!
Paaaaaaaaaaaar-taaaaaaaaayyy!

Mm my philosophy is its better to be warm then cold.
Just heard on radio. Today was the first time we broke 60 since October 24th, 2003. Thats like 4 months. Uuuuuggghhh...but i can turn off the seat heater in the car now...its been on permanantly all winter. But i dont think it counts as winter anymore.
And can you believe last Thursday we had an inch of snow on the ground? I think it was last Thursday at least...

Yeah, but think about this. You can only take so much off, but you can put on as much as you want.

Haha but you dont realize something. You never have enough on. However much you put on, there'll be one thing that is sticking out taht'll get frozen. LIke my eyes were that once, and so my eyelashes were frozen. You'd need so many layers on to combat some of the sub-zero temps that you wouldn't be able to put them all on. So wait until you actually have a real winter to say that. Real meaning you get *gasp* below zero.

Good point but it's not our fault that we don't get real winters. I mean we hardly ever even get to use our fireplace in our house. You do have a good point though. Oh well, ya'll have yall's advantages and we have ours. If we have any, that is.

How about that it's better to be cold in the summer, and warm in the winter?
Haha. That's why spring and autumn are good seasons. It's just right...(temperature wise)

Haha. And I see you use ya'll. While I dont use that, i must admit i'm big slur person. I never say you all seperated, but rather you'all all connected. But ya'll always makes me wanna crack up. Even Bush's accent makes me want to laugh sometimes. I swear, the upper midwest is one of the only areas without a hugely distinct accent. we're like the middle between everything.
