I can't help, but wonder why all role-play posts must be in first person. Wouldn't it be more logical to use the more commonly used 'third-person'?
My arguments against this 'first person' rp is because it's harder to read (posts, I mean). You'd have to make sure what character is replying, and it's just generally harder to write good posts with "I."
I'm not saying anything against the RPG, but I really do need someone to explain why this decision was made.

Um, I couldn't tell you. It wasn't my choice. I have to agree with you, cuz I'm way more used to writing in 3rd person, but you'll have to wait for Eruonen to come around to tell you.

Yes, I do get on regularly. To answer your argument, I feel that role-playing in 1st person creates a higher sense of character or of the feeling of being your character, if you can see what I mean. But since you and Ice feel differently and my goal is to satisfy all our members, you may role-play whichever way you like. Not to mention some of our members are already doing this.

*shrugs* just said its what i'm used to. maybe, since i have 30 hours of drivers ed, i'll write a story in 1st person to get used to it. its just that this is the first rpg i've ever come across thats in 1st person, so a lot of people aren't good at it.

You won't have to do that because I changed it to where you can now role-play in either way you like.

You know you could always write a extensive background story for Mirkwood.

Drivers ed sounds boring...that's one reason why I don't want to take it. But I know that I'll have to.

Duh you have to. But its not that bad. Only an hour, hour and a half, sitting there, then you can go wander around Ridgedale for like 30 minutes. So its not that bad. Go do it at Sears! Cuz Its going to take a while for me to finish so i'll still be doing some late July and such.
