I didn't even hear Eruonen's words, for the presence drawing me was too strong. I followed its pull, oblivious of when i passed beyond the borders of Lothlorien.

I was a tad confused as I watched my newfound friend seem to float away from Eruonen and I. She seemed to be in a daze, yet I could not figure it all out. With a puzzled expression on my face, I watched as the lady elf walked away from the two of us.

"It's getting late and the sky is getting darker with a sense of rain on the wind. Let's retire to my humble abode for a drink of wine and a meal to fit Lothlorien."

I nodded, agreeing with Eruonen. Indeed it was getting late, as the sun was almost gone from the horizon. However, I was still internally puzzled as to where Ice had left. I did not say anything regarding her disappearance, and rather responded to Eruonen's statement.
"That would be quite nice...thank you."

As we neared the flight of white stairs that lead up to my dwelling, I said to Stella, "I wonder what got into Ice to just leave her friends like that. She usually will do anything to make them happy. It was like her mind went elsewhere. If it's not too much to ask, what feeling did she give you?"

I slowed my walk as I pondered Eruonen's statement and question. I had never really felt any sort of huge sensation within me, yet I knew that something was definitely wrong when she walked away from the both of us in such a way. Trying to put my feelings into words in the best way that I could, I replied.
"I don't honestly know...twas a very odd feeling indeed. A feeling of almost inner cold...hard to understand...I don't even understand! Very strange..."

I listened to Stella's reply as we ascended the great, tall stairs of my home. "Oh well, it was probably nothing," although there was a cold feeling in my chest that told me otherwise. "Here we are. My humble dwelling." Slowly the doors opened without a touch due to my fellow elf on the other side. "I hope my place of santuary isn't too dismal for the great Stella of Rivendell for the beauty of your home must far surpass that of mine," I said to her as we walked into the fourier. I had hoped to receive an answer in return but Stella had a look of great awe on her beautiful face. I pondered if all elves from Rivendell looked as so or if I was just accustomed to seeing ones from my home. My dwelling was the grandest of Lothlorien while I was also the leader of my people. Lady Galadriel and her husband left after the destruction of the one ring. "Let's be merry Stella of Rivendell for a grand feast is upon us!"

I galloped back to Lothlorien, slowing my horse Starwind to a walk. I passed though the gate with a slight shudder, seeing Lothlorien as though the whole beauty of the city had been dimmed. I looked at my black mare, whom I had decided I would rename Darkmoon, for the moon shaped marking on her forehead. It just more suited my current loyalties in a way, though I wasn't sure if they were loyalties. I most definately wasnt totally evil. Just more than I was of the light.
I dismounted soon after entering, smiling at the young elf who came to take my horse. "Would you happen to know where Eruonen is?" I asked politely. "I had to leave suddenly on pressing business, and I wish to rejoin him." The elf nodded and told me that he was in his rooms. I nodded, smiling a thanks. I walked slowly up the great stairs, looking about at the city I had so long adored. But it didn't seem so special anymore. It was if something else lurked on the horizon, something that I knew not a name for. An idea formed in my head, an idea about a reward, but I stored it away for later, and schooled myself to meet the others.
I finally reached the top and knocked on the door, opening it slightly. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything!" I said as cheerfully as I could.

"Ice! You're back." I was startled by the voice of our friend that had suddenly returned from her excursion. "Of course your not interrupting anything. Stella and I were only having an evening meal together. Would you like to join?" Even as I uttered these sylables, something seemed to be different, as if the room had gotten colder with her entrance. Strange. Very strange., I thought to myself but I tucked this feeling and thought to the back of my mind to deliberate on later for I was at a glorious meal with an old friend and a new found soul. "If you don't mind my intrusion into your affairs, where was it that you most urgently took off to? For Stella and myself are baffled as to the reason of your flight."

My eyes narrowed slightly as I noted the slight signals he gave off to show that he believed something was wrong. I would have to be careful, very careful.
"Ah, but I can't tell you," I said with a grin I hoped wasn't suspicious. "You know as well as I that I do work for the elves that you shouldn't have knowledge of, since it isn't universally accepted."
I hoped the fact that I was often a "gatherer of information", or a spy in other terms, would help cover up my exit.
"And i would be very happy to join you," I said with another smile, sitting down in a free chair.

"So be it," I said as friendly as my suspicious feeling would allow me to. I thought to myself that I would find out about where she went later. That is, if I still felt it was of signifigince. As I begin to consume the appetizer, I said to Ice, "Well I hope your business went well." I wondered if Stella was feeling the same as myself or if she was completely oblivious to the feeling between Ice and I.

I was literally taken by surprise as Ice had randomly entered the room just as Eruonen and I had sat down to eat. My friend had taken the situation well, however, conversing with Ice, and asking her to join us again. However, I was inwardly feeling that the whole situation was a tad strange, and was even feeling a bit suspicious of her sudden exit, and then coming back again not even a half an hour later. Ice had left without warning, and had come back about warning. Inwardly shaking my head, I spoke my welcomes to Ice.
"Welcome back, Ice. 'Tis a pleasure to have you back with us once again."

I shrugged, hoping it looked careless.
"As well as may be expected."

"Good," was my only answer. "Now Stella. How does life in Lothlorien compare to that of which is in Rivendell for Ice and myself much desire to know?"

I took in a deep breath, composting my answer quickly within my head.
"Well, I have really only been able to enjoy Lothlorien for less than a day, so I cannot really give a fair judgment. However, I can sense that here there is a sense of greater calm than in Rivendell. However, the city is one of great elven culture, and is very enjoyable indeed. 'Tis my home, and I love it so. But so far, I have just found Lorien to be generally of more peace and calm than Rivendell has ever been for the years I have lived there. But again, I cannot possibly give fair judgement, for I have never really 'lived' in Lothlorien."
