Yeah, no kidding.
You're not going to believe this, but over the year or two, we're still 5 to 6 inches into a drought. But they've cleared the short-term drought.
There goes the thunder...

Yeah, I used to be super-paranoid about anything thunderstorm related, but now I think they're cool. I'm just psycholy paranoid about lightning at times when my imagination kicks up.

Ever since we like drove through a tornado warning with the funnel cloud right by us through the pooring rain, he's been freaked out by storms. I thought it was fun. Until we had to get into the hotel we stopped at since the sirens were going off. In the 3 seconds it took to get in there, i got really wet, plus stepped in a huge puddle which resulting in the bottom foot of my jeans being soaked. But i love storms.

Ah, yes, that would be the kind of thing to get people paranoid. Storms are good...as long as they are not at 3 in the morning on a school night when you are trying to SLEEP!

Yeah. I wish we'd have a tornado warning though during school. We did in 6th grade, but that would've been when schools getting out now.

Yeah. Unfortunately, this week is going to be pretty calm in terms of weather. The only chance for rain would be today and also Wednesday night I think. Maybe in September?

yeah, cuz it tends not to be as humid in august and september. though it was really bad the last few weeks of august. we had like a heat index of like 110 one day i think, and we were out there practicing tennis.

Well, it's not so much humidity as the conditions required to create tornadoes. I mean, in Kansas and Iowa, May was their prime times for tornadoes. However, it stays humid there all summer long.
