true, but humidity is a big part. if its not humid, theres less chance for a tornado.

I didn't say that. But you're right. It takes a different temp in the clouds than on the ground too, and different pressure.

but temps a factor. like that once when it was 80s below the storm line, and 40s above. they had snow above the storm line.

remember that once that we were like 80 before the storms passed through, then we had lots of wind, and we ended up at like 60?

Yup. or too cold. usually. you can still get snow, just not tornados.

Well, usually it's too cold and too dry, but when it's too warm...I don't know the exact reason, but I think it's almost too hot for convection to occur and for substantial clouds to form.
